Fortunately there are a few easy ways to hang curtains without having to drill holes in your walls.
I managed to hang them wide by placing the brackets on the edge of the window and allowing the rod to stick out further but you are stuck having to hang them directly on top of the window.
Allow about 3 inches on each side of the window.
If you hang your rods to look like they re hugging the window it makes the window and as a result pretty much the entire room feel smaller.
If you don t want to damage your walls or are renting a place where modifications aren t allowed it might seem like hanging up curtains isn t an option.
